Moving

Well, a long story, but my grandparents kicked us out. I am currently living in an extended stay hotel. This is the reason why i haven't been able to post. Sorry about that. Finally got our damn wifi up. Life without a computer is too hard haha. I'm on my computer practically 24/7, and without internet i was very very sad. In retrospect I probably should've just gone to a Starbucks. Ah well.

The crazy idea

So my half brother Jeff has this crazy idea that he thinks will turn huge. It's called a rologon (or on a larger scale a floton) and the perk to it is that it can drive without roads. It has these wheels patented by my great uncle Bill (who just passed away at the great age of 106!) which are basically a rubber type bag/balloon that are almost impenetrable! They can pass over snow, sand, or rock with ease. They can even pass over a person's whole body without injuring them! Anyways, I secretly hope that these will turn out big for him. He is in the process of raising 5 MILLION dollars for the project. If we had that growing up, it would be a much different world for me. I can't wait to see how this turns out...

Feedback?

I'm not really sure what to talk about next, although I've got a lot to talk about. If you have any suggestions, leaving them in the comment section would be a big help!

My life currently

Everything seems to be going well. As a freshman in college, I am studying to become an electrical engineer. Although I may not be attending some prestigious school, I still consider myself fortunate. I saved myself from the inevitable fate that ran through my genes. I can honestly say I am proud of what I've become.

Today's the big day

I am 19 years old and still standing. I am off drugs for 1 year, today. Never again will I leash myself in their death grip. Feel free to leave comments on your stories or hardships in the comment section below. I would love to hear your accomplishments and achievements!

An Overview of How I Came to Be Part 2

Well, the loss of my dad has no doubt made me a different person. No one to play catch with, no one to teach me how to talk to a girl. I am an outcast and a loner. My mom works as a teacher, and had no time for me whenever I had a question, or just wanted someone to talk to me. I am an only child, and the only person I ever talk to is my one friend Quinn. When I was 14, I met Quinn as a freshman. We both had similar interests, and we were both those weird kids who no one talked to. I turned to drugs when I was 15. They helped me realize that I don't have to give a damn about what others think about me. But eventually, I was addicted to several painkillers and cocaine. At 17, I was beginning a spiraling crash into my dad's exact life. I realized that I needed to clean up my act and kick the addictions. By 18, I was finally clean.

An overview of how I came to be

HELLLOOO. My names Tyler. I am 19 years old living with my mom and grandparents in California. I guess I should start with how I've come to be the person I am today. My dad was addicted to drugs until I was 12. I'm not quite sure what drugs he was addicted to, but the most my mom would give me is that he is addicted to drugs. I assume they were pretty heavy, because the stories that I was told weren't pretty. At one point, he drove to Bakersfield, completely stoned, and ran around the town naked asking for food and money for 4 days, until the police caught him. He had gone 4 days without food, but he apparently had plenty of booze to sustain himself. Fast forward in time about 5 years, when I was born. I guess I was an accident, because my dad ran out on my mom the second he heard she was pregnant. I haven't seen him since.
